Singapore encourages drivers to be friendly to vehicles with Luminous signs

On the route between downtown Singapore and Changi International Airport, you can see many wayfinding signs that glow in the dark or during low visibility conditions. This is an initiative by Singapore’s government transport department in recent years to improve road safety, better serve road users, and create a more harmonious and friendly urban and transportation environment. The technology uses a lightbox structure, high-power lighting fixtures that shine through reflective film, so even without vehicle headlights shining on them, the wayfinding signs glow actively, clearly displaying text and graphics.
